Sweeter after difficulty

It's a feeling that defies description. The crowd was incredible from the jump at the crack of dawn to the end. Their raucous cheers showed total admiration and encouragement for all the runners. Having the support of family and friends cheering you on at the start and finish line is an incredible feeling. Even when it's not easy for them to be there, it's a testament to the true meaning of friendship.

Remembering my recent marathon in Coeur d'Alene Idaho, filled my heart with appreciation and thankfulness for Kaye, JD, Lydia and Jamie. I am also incredibly grateful to the Marquez family for making the long drive of 600+ miles to cheer me on. I'm lucky to have such a great support system—you guys are my cornerstones! Your kindness means the world to me. Here's to reaching the next finish line even faster!
